I was able to plug my laptop into a network with a Windows Active directory server with eCS 2.2 beta installed. Seems to work oke Samba gui. But what is weird is the "signing_good:BAD SIG: seq 1

What type of data do you need ? I have access to the network.

This is a well known error in the code 2.1.x browsing code. As there is no easy way to fix this, the browsing code was more or less rewritten in 2.5. Try this ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/samba/client/test/evfsgui-25RC1-20130217.zip, the problem should be gone.
