Description
A new Samba Client GUI that supports the following features should be created:
- Support both Netdrive and EVFS
- Support smb.pdr for printing
- Same feature set as EVFSGUI PLUS
- abitiliy to browse network ressources
- WPS-like apporach to connect to SMB LAN ressources using either
- drag and drop or
- context menu
- Eventually also support other Netdrive plugins
Portions of the required source code already exist:
- EVFSGUI basic framework (not publicly available, license?)
- browsing code from smbmon (in Samba repository)
- Samba init code in sambainit.vrs (in Samba repository)
