Each some days in a samba's directory appear strange libc's logs: one about 500 Kb (libc_004b.log in attached archive) and thousands about 900 bytes (libc_8c52.log).

I suspect that it can be around the problem in ticket #93.

I'm trying to migrate from LAN-Server to SAMBA. I set up a complete isolated network with not more than 2 participants: 1) Samba Server (3.3.16 / 1.1.2-687) on eCS (2.1 DE)

• Hostname: eCSServ / 192.168.0.1 / Workgroup: XXXXXXX

2) Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (Version 6.1.7601)

• Hostname: 7Client / 192.168.0.2 / Workgroup: XXXXXXX

When I try to link from 7Client a drive (c), that is shared by eCSServ, I after some seconds get an error by the 7Client. The Error message depends on the SAMBA-loglevel! Level 10 = " the server cannot service the request" Level 2 = "The specified network name is no longer available". I have no problems in connecting a WinXP or an eCS (1.2 / 2.1) Client to this Server. I disabled SMB2 on the 7Client. (hopefully did it) User: root / root I hope you can help me. With kind regards

sporadische Abstürze bei folgender Situation: (großes Datenvolumen / 30.000 Dateien / 1,5 GB Daten)
1) xcopy auf eCS kopiert Daten von lokaler Festplatte nach Mount auf XP-Rechner
2) 7Z.exe auf eCS zippt parallel dazu Daten auf Mount auf XP-Rechner
3) mehrfach durchführen: während Step „Scanning“ von 7z.exe dieses durch manuelles CTL-C abgebrochen
Verbindung eCS SAMBA-Client mit WINXP geht verloren![[BR]] *

Nach Update auf die neueste auf NETLABS verfügbare Client-Version, habe ich dieses Absturzverhalten nicht mehr beobachten können.
