| Description |
When installing samba-1-3-0-979.wpi the install hung at a dialog that had several options that could be checked. Only one option was checked that said something like "install libraries using yum". Clicking on "Continue" seemed to do nothing. I noticed a yum VIO window running in the background. I brought it to the foreground and noticed that it was waiting for user input to confirm the install. I responded "Y" to the prompt and the install completed successfully. |

The Samba Status Monitor produces a pop up error. A window pops up titled "NLV Setup Error" and says "Could not find a valid language file!". Clicking OK causes the Samba Status Monitor to open anyway. This problem also existed in the previous version I had installed. |

Installed version: samba-1-3-0-979.wpi I had a working setup. I started the server today and got several "SYS1804: The system cannot find the file CUPS" messages. Since nothing changed in the samba server files, I assume that some RPM package got updated which broke samba. The only package in the yum.log that I updated during that period is:
