I installed Samba plugin ndpsmb-2_1_0-ga-20110628.wpi on my ECS 2.1 system. I tried to do both with netdrive 3,1,1 and also evfsgui. Samba Client Versions:

I got access to my windows xp service pack3 computer and I'm able to copy files into the win folder. I treid to do with *.txt. *.jpg,*. wpi and *.zip files - everythin was fine. Than I wanted to copy all fill back to my ecs computer. except the *.zip I could copy all files backwards. The *,zip file doesn't work.

After successfully installing ArcaOS, I first installed <rxlib4smb.wpi>. I also checked the other required libraries, using the yum install libc libcx libgcc1 cups-libs popt-libs gettext-libs zlib readline command, and it was indicated they were all installed.

I then tried installing <samba-1-3-0-1022.wpi>. Unfortunately it complained it couldn't find the following Runtime Libraries:

I went back to the first file and reinstalled what seemed to be just the 2nd and 3rd packages, but that didn't seem to correct that problem. Using ANPM I installed the Readline 6.1-4 libraries but that didn't correct the 1st problem either; maybe though these are different from READLN6.

Any ideas? I guess I could post in <mantis.arcanoae.com> but this doesn't seem an ArcaOS problem.

Hosting shares on eCS from Windows works fine. Moved share to Windows 7 and mapped from eCS 2.0 using various Samba Client builds. Tried using EVFS and Netdrive to mount.

Crash only happens when running multiple DOS applications from a DOS window via the share on Windows 7. Executing the same file (BBS nodes) via DOS window. It works for awhile but then get a random crash (JFS trap 000e). I use JFS for my boot drive for eCS 2.0.
