I have both stable and experimental repositories enabled here. This morning I was testing Yumie and, seeing that a newer version of "yum" package was available, I installed it The program reported that the update was ok. Then I selected "rpm" package and chose "Update". Unfortunately I got an "unrecoverable error" message and now nor yum or rpm work from command line. | Description |
As we know that urlgrabber 3.1 fails when fetching via https, we should consider bumping the dependency for yum 3.4.3 to something above 3.1. The current urlgrabber in our repo is 3.10.1. Without this dependency, merely updating yum will not allow SSL connections to function. Related to issue #91. |
