The new autoconf is replacing x:\usr\xxx paths in PATH with \@unixroot\usr\xxx. While this works fine with libc based apps, it breaks perl scripts:

chomp($SRC_ROOT = pwd);

produces:

Can't spawn "pwd": No such file or directory
