Description
I have samsung B2440 23.6" monitor. Panorama finds the correct resolution of 1920x1080. The desktop is bigger than the screen on both sides by about 5cm. I can't see the start button on the left or the clock on the right hand side. The connection to the monitor is VGA.

Even the auto adjust on the monitor doesn't solve the problem. The screen is 52cm x29cm. I replace it with different screen which 53cm x 30cm and this screen doesn't have problem.

The physical size of the screen is not relevant.
I would be interested in seeing the log from that system when booted with and using the display that works correctly.

No response from reporter. This issue is not likely resolvable in the Panorama software.
The Panorama driver is correctly using the timings supplied by the display.
If your display did not automatically "auto adjust", you can manually select the "auto adjust" feature on your display. Or you can manually adjust the size of the displayed image.
