Description
On my Tobopeep computer, (log file attached) I can use Panorama in standard screen modes, but if I try 1920 x 1200, I get a blank screen. If I use the widescreen adapter (INTLBIOS.SYS), I can have a widescreen.

First, I set the system to 1024 x 768, installed Panorama 1.02 and rebooted.
PanoUtil -s" and says: "Custom resolution logic is enabled.",
"No manual EDID is set.". It does not say that a Manual custom resolution
has been set.
I select 1920 x 1200 and reboot, but there is no video.
Ctrl-Alt-Del usually works, but in this case, I get a VIO screen with wild
purple and orange pattern, repeated in a 25 x 80 pattern as if there might
be garbage in the character mode display memory.
A second time, I got the Ctrl-Alt-Del menu, but when I selected the Command
Prompt, I again got a psychedelic display.
I decided to use the suggestion (PanoUtil -e 16200,1920,1200,560,50,48,32,3,6)
rebooting to 1920 x 1200, I now get the monitor adjusting itself a few times,
then a proper display. The Ctrl-Alt-Del menu, and full screen Command Prompt
display properly.

That is interesting. That means that the custom resolution code in the Panorama driver works correctly and that the timing values provided by your display do not work and are probably incorrect. The -e allows you to manually specify all the timing values. The values I gave you are the exact ones that the wide screen enabler uses so the result should be exactly the same. These values are stored in the OS2.INI file and will stay set until changed. It is perfectly OK to continue to run your system this way.
Since there is nothing to change in the Panorama driver, I will close this ticket.

Please try the new version 1.02.
First try it using all the default settings. Run "PanoUtil -s" and verify that it says: "Custom resolution logic is enabled.", and "No manual EDID is set.". Also make sure that it does not say that a Manual custom resolution has been set. Comment out the wide screen enabler (if any), reboot, select your desired resolution (1920x1200) and reboot to see if it works. If yes, this is the best way to operate your display.
If you still have no display try this second. use CTL-ALT-DEL and select a command prompt. Run "PanoUtil -e 16200,1920,1200,560,50,48,32,3,6".
If CTL-ALT-DEL does not activate the CAD handler, please let me know. In that case, you can run this command booted from a different partition, or booted to the maintenance desktop if you specify the drive letter of the partition to modify: "PanoUtil -e 16200,1920,1200,560,50,48,32,3,6 d:" for drive d:.
Please let me know what happens.
