#6 | fixed | Screen is a mess
Description |
Hi David, First all the best for 2013 :) I tried all the newer panorama's so far. The latest works the best so far, alto the screen is coming up. But i can only get is work if i let in the config.sys the basedev=atombios.sys Lemme describe what i do: First i rem the basedev=atombios.sys Then i go to cmd line and do in panorama dir: To reset the Presentation Manager selected resolution to 800x600 PanoUtil? -p c: then run the panorama installer. Reboot, and then i see the desktop coming up and looks like this. (See picture) If i remout the basedev=atombios.sys and restart i get my normal screen back :) Any idea ... |

#13 | fixed | Thinkpad W500 video to external monitor fails after reboot
Description |
With Thinkpad W500, Panorama works beautifully at 1920 x 1200 on the LCD screen and also out to an external VGA-connected monitor. However, if the Thinkpad is connected to the external monitor and I reboot eCS, then the display is now directed to the LCD screen instead of the external monitor. |

#17 | fixed | System crash when calling "full screen command line"
Description |
Dear Sirs, I'm testing the available eCS2.2 BETA II, which has included the Panorama 1.06. We are running HP Elite 8300 machines. I'm getting crashes in form of a coloured sprangled Monitor together with the system completely hung. It's only possible to switch off power with the system. The crash is reproducible. It appears, when I switch very soon (within 5 seconds) after booting to an eCS full command prompt. It doesn't appear, if you give the system more time after booting. It also can be avoided, if PSD=ACPI.PSD /MAXCPU=1 is used. I reported this already last year in the eCS bugtracker (ticket: 0003501), where Mr. Roderick Klein asked me to wait for the Panorama Version 1.06. But this error is NOT eliminated with this 1.06. As a workaround I'm forced to use the MAXCPU=1 solution, as my machines have to run certain scripts and programs in fullscreen mode! With kind regards Dirk |
