#16 | wontfix | No network in WinXP or openSUSE after working with eCS
Description |
I bought a new mainboard Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3. The Revision 2.2 has a gigabit LAN chip RTL 8111E. I don't know whether the "E" of this chip causes my troubles. If I install your r8110-0.1.3.zip in an installed eCS 2.1 with MPTS, I get the text "Realtek 8110/1Gb PCIe MAC Driver 0.1.2-BETA Copyright (c) 2010 Mensys BV DEBUG VERSION R8110$ loaded" during bootup, but no network connection is possible. If I install the driver during eCS 2.1 installation, the bootup text is "Realtek RTL 8110/1G NIC OS/2 Driver v.0.1.2 beta 2011-02-14", and the driver works fine in eCS. But if I reboot with Win XP or openSUSE 11.4 I can't connect to the network. In XP the device manager shows something like "This device can't be startet (Code 10)". Only a cold reboot removes the error. In both cases 0.1.2 is shown, but it is the driver version 0.1.3! |

#17 | worksforme | no connection after suspend
Description |
On A Thinkpad T61 with the intel 82566MM Network card and newest multimac driver there is a problem with suspend. Using acpi driver 3.19 fullpull, suspend and resume works, but after suspend the networkcard no longer works, (wireless works genmac). The lights on the card are on, but that's all. If you want additional information, please let me know. |

#18 | fixed | e1000e hangs during netbind - Add support for 82579LM Gigabit
Description |
Lenovo Thinkpad T420 is equipped with Intel 82579LM Gigabit NIC (8086:1502). It seems to me that the chipset is supported in recent version of e1000e module in linux. It would be great having this available for OS/2 too! Thanks and bye Gabriele |
