3D PDF samples (PDF/E-2), though not identified as containing either U3D or PRC:
http://www.3dpdfconsortium.org/showcase/
(Note that as of this writing, Poppler - 0.47.0 - does not yet support 3D PDF formats. We currently only render the 2D elements, and a single layer of PDF.)

PDF known to cause difficulties for Lucide 1.4.0 when configured not to create thumbnails, when thumbnail EA is already present:

I just generated yet another PDF that will make Lucide die (all versions up to 1.41 beta 12) on the verge of completing the rendering, but this is really minimal.
I put together a companion .txt that you will find along with it and the PostScript source in 'my' directory within the test PDF directory on your server, see gridtest.*.

What do you mean by die? Does it produce a .trp file? If it is crashing try the Beta 14 which fixes a high memory issue that caused traps on file open. I will send it to you via email.
Gridtest.pdf opens here as a blank white page. The thumbnail is the same. If I scroll it I see flashes of differing sized grids. It also opens as a blank page in qpdfview. This appears to be a Poppler problem. You will need to report it to them. https://poppler.freedesktop.org/

Replying to lewisr: Files that fail in 1.3.6 or later. http://wisdomtree.info/os2/pdftest.zip All files display correctly in 1.3.5

These all render correctly here with 1.4.1. They do all use substitute fonts. Perhaps you don't have the correct fonts installed. What freetype font driver are you using?

Re-post of original comment:14:ticket:269 (Thu, 02 Apr 2020 17:04:42 -0000 by Lewis Rosenthal):
Cal:
I cannot access your PDF. Please confirm that these are still problematic under 1.5.0 GA, and if so, re-add the link. Also, for particular symptoms, please open one or more specific tickets.
Thanks!
Alfredo:
Thanks to the server crash, the /pub/incoming/poppler-test/ content was lost. Your directory is back, however (though empty). When you feel so inclined, please re-upload your gridtest.* files.
Thanks/2!

Re-post of original comment:15:ticket:269 (Wed, 08 Apr 2020 13:41:00 -0000 by Alfredo Fernández Díaz):
Lewis, been offline for a while, sorry.
I can't locate any useful gridtest.* files here, so I probably generated those ad hoc, and of course I can't fully recall what was in them. I do have one postscript file from 2018/10 with differing grid sizes, that still taxes Lucide a bit when compiled to PDF, but in the end it does render. I switched to Lucide 1.5 for good some time ago, so I don't know how useful all of that would be now.
I can try and make up some test files if it still is of interest, but you tell me.
Some interesting graphics files here, including an 11.7MB single-page PDF/X-3 testfile to validate ICC-profile support and PDF/X-3 compliance:
