as it's fixed by the dev, i close that bug. we don't have the time to look at all stuff and are glad devs also fix their app.

If we're going this way it will be over sooner than later. Its a bug in our OpenJDK and it should be fixed. There are more programs which have same behavior, but I didn't report it because its the same problem. So its not only JGraphite and not all developers are so kind to fix something for just OS/2-eCS.

The description of this ticket is confusing. Please clarify or I will close it.

I need the exact steps to reproduce the problem (including the links to the software that shows it).

Joop refered to #192. but as it's fixed there we need another app where we see the problem.
@Joop: now you can do something and provide a good testcase for us.

Sorry, my native is not English and I don't know how to put it otherwise. The test is really simple. Every program which shows a picture or something else full screen (ie you don't see any bars from OS/2-eCS or from the program, you only see a picture with the same size as your monitor) will disable or kill almost every mouse or key operation. You can't get back in a proper way and you have to reboot. Up to now I've seen this with an early version of JGraphite, but HDTVTestPattern does the same. You can test it yourself just by downloading those two programs (early version of JGraphite), install it, run it.

What do you mean by "early version of JGraphite"? Please be more specific.

I have one application that uses fullscreen -- freecol -- and it works good, no crashes, no problems with the mouse or keyboard.

@Joop it would be very helpful, if you would add a link the version you try. I'm sorry to say, but we can't read you mind and we don't have the time to search the net for all possible versions of an app.

Go here: http://arachnoid.com/HDTVTestPattern/index.html and get the jar. The image is full screen. The instructions say to 'click your mouse, or hit any key' to return to your desktop. When you do, nothing happens. You can CAD and get to TOP to kill java.

I tested this with Java6 GA5_b27 with ODIN 0.8.9.
