#319 | fixed | A prompt is needed when copying over readonly files
Description |
A prompt is needed asking the user what he wants to do when overwriting a directory or file(s) that have the attribute readonly. Does the user want to continue or cancel the copy or move operation? example: Some of the files are marked readonly, do you wish to proceed with the operation? Presently, the copy/move operation fails with an error message. Steven had this to say: This is part of what's needed. The process is a bit more complicated in that, for safety, the check should be done before the copy/move is started. Otherwise, the destination might be partially updated before the user gets a chance to decide what to do. |

#363 | fixed | A recursive scan is needed to assure that duplicate path names don't appear in the drive tree of the focus drive from restored containers
#498 | fixed | AV/2 should default to FM/2's viewers/edtors
Description |
I have not configured any viewers or editors specifically for AV/2. (I had never even noticed that AV/2 had its own settings menu item.) In the past, AV/2 would always use the viewers/editors I had configured for FM/2. And this is how I believe it should continue to work. Now, AV/2 continues to use the FM/2 viewers/editors when it is initiated from within FM/2. But when AV/2 is run started outside of FM/2 (icon or WPS), it defaults to using FM/2's internal viewer. AV/2 should default to FM/2's viewers/editors regardless of how it is started. |
