What do you mean by "No details mentioned below, because a Pentium III IBM ThinkPad? 600X should be rather rare, but should be reproducable if wanted."? Details are always required, otherwise nothing to talk about. 2 2 3 As the trap occurs during WPS startup, I'd suspect that it occurs during a FAT drives remount during cachef32.exe startup. Cachef32.exe does a remount of FAT/FAT32/exFAT drives when it's startin up. Maybe, trap is occured during a remount of some drive (a flash disk inserted?). Can you comment out cachef32 only? Does it start without it?
