    1 Hm, Looking at FAT drive root directory, I don't see "." and ".." records at all. The root directory starts from Volume Label, but no "." or "..". Non-root subdirectories have such records, though. So, it looks to be normal for a FAT drive. Though, I, maybe, need to create fake "." and ".." records for FAT root directory.
