v1 v2 2 2 3 3 PS: Are you sure BTW, that your disk C: is in good condition? Did you checked its SMART status, at least? I see it hanging when trying to read sectors from disk C:, when unmounting. I saw similar errors on FAT32 flash stick, attached via a faulty USB controller (integrated one). It works fine through another USB controller, which is in good condition (installed as a PCI extension board). I'd suspect that it may be faulty IDE drive. Though, I need to check last hypothesis with bl3.zip test. 4 5 PPS: All of my three IDE drives has beed died recently. The most older was a 80 GB seagate barracuda, which was since about 2003. Your disk seems to be even older (you said, it is since Win 3.1 times).
