    33PS: Yes, you have a very strange setup. Why do you need .cmd files on FAT32 drive and PATH referencing it? Anyway, it helps to catch glitches ;) But I am still unable to reproduce this on my machine :)

     5PPS: Are you sure that your FAT32 disk does not contain errors? Either, those fixable with CHKDSK, or hardware ones? Bad sectors, or maybe, a faulty drive?
