1212This package also contains the cups HowTo in INF format which is opened in the Help Viewer and will also start the CUPS Printer setup; both of these events occur at the end of the package installation. Refer to the displayed "How To" in order to setup a printer.

14 '''Note:''' The above Warpin Archive was designed to be installed to eComStation systems. It should also install to OS/2 V4.50/1/2 systems. This would result in the OS/2 system acquiring an ecs directory tree on the boot drive in the event of Docs and/or Support dll files being installed - Just something OS/2 V4.5x users need to be aware of.

3840CUPS and Gutenprint/Splix need to be extracted into the root directory of the SAME drive - some Gutenprint/Splix files need to be installed into the CUPS directories.

40 Ghostscript also needs to be installed.  The current CUPS build expects to find gsos2.exe in \gs\gs8.64\bin\gsos2.exe - ie on the same drive as CUPS.  If this isn't the location of Ghostscript, you can edit \cups\lib\cups\filter\pstoraster and edit the PREFIX which points to the Ghostscript location.  gs864os2.zip contains only the directory gs8.64 for compatability with GSView so take care when extracting.
42Ghostscript also needs to be installed.  The current CUPS build expects to find gsos2.exe in \gs\gs8.70\bin\gsos2.exe - ie on the same drive as CUPS.  If this isn't the location of Ghostscript, you can edit \cups\lib\cups\filter\pstoraster and edit the PREFIX which points to the Ghostscript location.
