Description
This ugly hack needs to be gone. But for that we need to change all spec using it. As since several month we have a more better macro in the rpm env to deal with it.

Any progress on this? We have Rich's updates to submit (it would be nice to have SVN access, as requested), and we are having to work around this hack in the meantime for some of our stuff.

as written in the mail, for svn access you need to ask ktk. I can't give that especially as I don't know which user needs it.
and gcc4.spec is still not fixed/released.

beside gcc4.spec all spec and rpm are fixed. As soon as gcc4.spec is also fixed this part bites the dust.
