#2 fixed Installing airboot while installing eCS2.1 prevents an existing eCS2.0GA from booting Ben Rietbroek losepete

When installing eCS2.1 I elected to give airboot a try as the boot manager.

While airboot could boot the new eCS2.1 installation it could not boot my existing eCS2.0GA installation. Selecting eCS2.0 from the boot menu results in the system starting to boot and stopping immediately.

Removing airboot and reinstalling Boot Manager means that both eCS installations boot fine.

Reinstalling airboot means that the ecS2.0GA installation will not boot.

This is repeatable and indicates a problem with airboot.

#5 fixed Enabling virus checking makes v1.0.8-rc3 bark when using the drive-letter feature Ben Rietbroek Ben Rietbroek

When virus checking is enabled and the drive-letter feature is used, AiR-BOOT v1.0.8-rc3 mistakenly thinks a virus is active in the PBR.

  • Hold down the shift key when AiR-BOOT is about to start
This will cause it to enter SETUP right away
  • Disable the virus checking

This will be fixed in the next RC.

#26 fixed AirBoot displays wrong LVM-drive info when booted with usb-stick inserted Ben Rietbroek Ben Rietbroek

Situation: Multiple OS/2 installations on same drive-letter. One of them is a PRI partition. Without stick inserted the drive-letters display OK. With stick inserted, bogus drive-letter displayed or wrong LVM-hidden status. Looks like something goes wrong with getting info from Master LVM-record.
