Hard disc not found on Thinkpad T510

Reported by: ecsnl Owned by: cjm
Priority: major Milestone:
Component: driver Version: 1.12

Description

We tested the driver on a Thinkpad T510. In LVM the disc was not shown. However the machine was able to boot from CD and that all worked.

The hard disc showed up in LVM discmanager by adding the /R option to the driver. Its an Intel disc controller chipset ID 3B2F.

So it works alright with the /R switch?

Yes by adding the /R the hard disc on the next reboot was found. So with the /R option the CD ROM drive could be used. But by loading with /R option was the hard disc also shown.
