JFS long format hangs

Description
Using AHCI 1.22 on eCS 2.1. I have a 300GB SATA II hard drive. When I try to long format it JFS it gets to about 74% complete, then a loud 3 tone tune is played over and over on the motherboard speaker and the computer is hung. If I do this in IDE mode, the format completes with no trouble.
In newsgroups I have seen other people report this same problem.

Thanks for the bug report. We could reproduce the problem and fixed it in [136].
The fix will be available in the next release (1.24). If you are in a hurry, let me know.
