Hardware: Asus M5A88-V EVO + AMD quad-core CPU 2 x 500GB SATA drives connected to motherboard ports 2 x SCSI hard disks and one SCSI tape drive attached to LSILogic PCI card This all works with OS2AHCI ver. 1.25, but with ver. 1.28 or 1.29 there is intermittent disk activity while the eCS splash screen is displayed, then the hd activity LED shows "solid" for quite a while, then nothing: the machine will not continue booting. |

When running a 512MB and a 2TB disk on an Intel NM10/ICH7 controller (8086:27C0) in IDE mode, everything works fine. Changing to AHCI-mode, only c-drive with 512 MB is visible. DFSEE states: ERROR disk nr 2 : EBR at 0x0000fe01, Cyl:1 cannot be read! RC:087 (Hopefully this is not a known problem, I did not find a similar ticket) |
