Description
I have not been able to use any acpi greater than 2.22 on this board. 2.22 runs fine with /smp /apic /tmr.
have spent hours trying ALL tricks and tips in the doc files. If I do not use /smp it will boot. with /smp if use /pic I can boot to the start of the desk top. Crash requires reset. CAD will not work. with /apic the crash is at loading either hpfs or jfs, whichever is first, requiring reset. In both cases there is no pop-up or system message. I have seen in some of the forums other users are also having problems. Hopefully this may help get the nvidia boards running. Ben

msg 1, ACPI 3.02
Corrected dani files, all now approx. 7/10/07 date. used wpi update to load 322. Attached are the debug "logo" files. There will be 3 emails, each of a different version. Photos not too good but should be readable. Thanks for your help Ben

msg 2
ACPI 3.03
Second email. All corrections made, used wpi upgrade to load 303. Photos attached. I think 302 and 303 may be the same.

msg 3
ACPI 2.22
Third email. This is a debug of the running version. This had the extra pages. I thought it might help. All versions were run on ECOM20RC1. For some reason this worked with the old DANI files. This is with the the new DANI files, and 222 debug. (It shows as 331 while booting?)

Ok. Going from 1st, step by step.
- Check danis506.add for 1.8.x version
- Check daniatapi.flt for 0.4 (or higher) version
- check config.sys for basedev=daniatapi.flt instead daniatap.flt
- Boot with psd=acpi.psd /SMP
if fail, try boot with psd=acpi.psd and make "copy acpica$ acpi.log" and attach log here

Your motherboard should work fine with ACPI 3.05. Please re-open the ticket if problem occurs.
try boot with /SMP /APIC /ALS /TMR, if fails - make "copy acpica$ acpi.log" and attach here. if you can boot w/o options.
