Description
Hardware ASUS M2N mainboard with nVidia nForce430/MCP61 chipset
Using the line
PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /APIC
the system fails to boot.
With the OS2LOGO file not present I see the text in the attached P5230006_crop.jpg then the screen clears and... stays that way for several minutes until I reboot.
No logs due to failure to boot.
Changing the above line to
PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /PIC
the system boots and seems to work fine.

why opening a new ticket for the same issue? either close the old and open a new or only add comment to the old. it's almost not possible to follow issues if done so.
