Description
The doc (inf file) says about the /!NOD switch
Disable internal OEMHLP$ driver. Do not forget to activate acpica.add. You may be able to boot; but ACPI will be semi-functional: APIC will not work, LINK and REMAP requests in ACPI.CFG are ignored, etc.
I found somewhere else, that the acpica.add is no longer needed. And the switch works here without acpica.add.

This ticket is extremely old and for an unsupported version. The NOD switch is gone in the current version and all the docs have been updated.
