Description
With ecs RC6a and RC7 with acpi versions 3.16 and 3.17 acpi works well in smp and apic mode - it reboots fine but does not suspend and resume, nor does it poweroff properly in either acpi or apm mode.

I re-installed RC7 and with acpi 3.17 sound loops with /SMP switch and /SMP /APIC switches. Also in with no swtiches running Poweroff.exe reboots the machine. Shutting down the laptop the normal way just freezes the laptop
