Sony Vaio VGN-A190, troubles with ACPI

Reported by: eco Owned by: eco

Description (last modified by eco)

From: Jean-Luc PEYRET

Hardware: Sony Vaio VGN-A190 (2004 ?), 1 CPU

ACPI: eComStation 2.0 RC6a, ACPI 3.14

Problem: The processor load just goes to 99%. I cannot really tell much more because I reinstalled the system immediately (I need it for my work and I could not keep a non-working or badly-working system)

Problem: I have APSoft driver (PC Card), it doesn't work with ACPI.

Does the machine run not without acpi or in PIC mode?
