Description

Gateway 7405GX laptop with AMD Athlon64 and ATI Radeon 9600 AGP video (using SDD). eCS 2.0RC1 (w4 kernal) with ACPI 3.00 and APM 1.15. Used ACPI.PSD /EIS /AFS with ACPI.CFG containing LINK LNKA 9, LINK LNKB 11, LINK LNKC 11, LINK LNKD 9 in order to get all hardware (with drivers - no winmodem or firewire) to work.

APM shutdown, battery on/off, lid close work properly. Choosing 'suspend' from the 'Power' object menu appears to suspend the computer properly (screen goes blank, power stays on), but hitting the power button to resume turns off the computer (cleanly - no check disk on reboot). Using /VBE, /OS, /OSI, /LS:0..5 switches do not seem to help.

It turns out this laptop does not support S1 resume, only S3,S4,S5. Please cancel this ticket.
