Description
I have an Asus M2A-VM HDMI motherboard with onboard AMD 690G chipset, AMD Athlon X2 +4000 cpu. It has ATI X1250 graphics running with Panorama. On Board sound ALC883 does not work properly with Uniaud RC4 release. It loops continuously. The Realtek 8111 Gigabit lan chip did set the switch light to gigabit but didn't transmit any data, I think I used NTGNDA.OS2 driver but may have been RTSND.OS2. I'm currently using a Sound Blaster Live card for sound and an Intel Pro/100 network card.
I have attached the log files I have together with two photographs, one is with /SMP on and the other with /APIC.
USB doesn't work when acpi.psd is loaded even though the same irqs are used without it as with it in pic mode. If psd=acpi.psd is used alone it's only the USB that doesn't work. The sound card and nic cards both still work.
Trying OS2APIC.PSD does boot but doesn't allow the use of both processor cores.
I hope the logs are useful. Unfortunately I have trouble concentrating so sorry if I have missed something but I can follow step by step instructions. I didn't get a .dat file from iasl -d. I'm using eCS 1.15.

You have serious error in parse ACPI table. So you can't use /APIC now. And I recommended add /!NOD, because this error do wrong working in inside PCI scanner. Your table send to support of ACPI CA. Waiting answer.

I saw your logging utility so ran it and since I got more .dat files than previously I have attached the results in case they are of any help.

Tried 3.7 but it hung at boot when /SMP was set, have included a jpg of the screen. Logs attached. The utility 'Thermal.exe' always shows the temperature as 40 degrees, it's probably about 35 in reality.

I also tried APIC. Everything seemed OK until I tried to print and my USB printer didn't work. I've taken logs and attached them in case they give some helpful information. I'm still using /!NOD.

I'm unable to get eCSrc2v6a to install on this system. I've been trying on and off for the last three weeks and have just had enough of it. I'll just throw Windows at this one.
It seems to be a weird motherboard and I've seen a report of eCS working on the M2A-VM (non HDMI version) so can I suggest we just give up on this one and close this incident. I'll check if it's in your hardware database and add it as AVOID AT ALL COSTS if it's not there.
