ACPI problems in RC4

Priority: | major | Milestone: | Release version 3.08 |
Component: | ACPI PSD | Version: | 3.05 |

Description
I have just installed eCS 2.0RC4 on my ASUS M2V-TVM based AMD X2 system with the following results.
The system does not use both processors despite the /SMP switch and /PIC switches being set on ACPI.PSD in config.sys and the SMP kernel being loaded.
Requesting the system to shut down and power off does not work, rather it reboots again.
After turning on Archiving, the system hangs at the point where the WPS should load - hard stop CAD does not work - only power off.
overwriting the ACPI, APM and Resource.sys files from eCS 2.0 RC3 and rebooting clears the hang and the system runs on both processor cores coirrectly.

Ed.

Here's the log using the v 3.03 - (successful boot).

As you will see from the attached logs - there appears to be no difference !
Are there additional logs, or are these only created if one runs the debug versions of the ACPI support files ?

I can confirm that with version 3.7, the WPS and boot hang no longer occur, however when doing a shutdown, the system still reboots rather than closing down - I believe this is a hardware related incompatibility with just my system - I have gone back to V 3.03 for this reason. The more major, hang issue has been resolved however so this ticket should be closed.
Here's the ACPIDaemon log of the failure
