#22 fixed Some hardware doesn't work correctly after installing ACPI 3.0 pasha psmedley
Description

Compaq Presario R3000 - Pentium4-M processor

Works great with ACPI 2.22 driver

Installed release version of ACPI 3.0, after booting, LAN hardware does not work correctly. ie - dhcp cannot get an address; if a static address is assigned, the local IP (ie 192.168.1.3) can be pinged, but no remote IPs can be reached.

LAN hardware is Realtek 8139.

Logs with both ACPI 2.22 and ACPI 3.0

#23 duplicate TPad T60 will not recognize Fn-F7 to toggle display from LCD to/from CRT pasha Eugene Gorbunoff
Description

From: Carl Gehr source: http://news.ecomstation.nl/article.php?id=2073&group=ecomstation.multimedia.misc#2073

The subject pretty well spells out the problem.

  • eCS 1.2R
  • SNAP 3.1.8
  • All the fixes that eCSMT indicates are available.

I tried with BIOS set for combinations of default display at boot to be LCD and/or regular display.

Display, in this case, is an NEC projector. I could not find, manually, a model number to match. Toggle does not even seem to register on TPAD on-screen display tool.

I did get it to work with ONLY the projector, but it would then not toggle back to the LCD. Absolutely does not ever use both. Fn-F7 does not change anything at all.

Using the latest levels [acpi_20070526.zip] and:

PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /NOD /R

Actually, I should have indicated installed with:

acpifu-20070526.wpi
