#527 | fixed | Question/Problem? with powerdlg.exe
Description |
Listed as defect but could be a change needed in the ACPI documentation or Config.sys update. Problem occurs with either 3.19.14 and 3.19.15. When launching Power Manager Icon, Dialog appears stating the Power Manager service is not running. Pressing OK from the GUI dialog either exits, Or pops up the error a 2nd time. If it pops up a 2nd time after selecting OK the Power manager dialog appears as it should and can be edited. Otherwise launching the icon a 2nd time give the same service not running but then after choosing OK, continues to the dialog as it should. Question? Should powerdlg.exe be in the config.sys as a run= item? Like powerman.exe used to be? I recall the same error when powerman.exe was not present in the previous ACPI 3.18 builds. Neither powerman.exe or powerdlg.exe is currently in my config.sys as a run item. A picture of the dialog can be attached if needed. |

#526 | fixed | ACPI boots, but quickly sets both CPU to 12%
Description |
This is Thinkpad T61p with eCS 2.1, and the computer boots OK (most of the time), but then it quickly sets both CPU to 12% which makes things very slow. Once in a while boots in a state where sounds won't play. Once in a while boots with no problem. |
