#321 | fixed | ACPI Tools does not work with ACPI 3.12 | ||
Description |
From: Karlheinz Schmidthaus source: http://bugs.ecomstation.nl/view.php?id=2273 The ACPI Tools setgetstate.exe and acpibattery.exe does not work with ACPI 3.12. My ThinkPad? T42p always run with maximum speed. Additional it is not possible to poweroff. It looks like that most acpi tools are broken. setgetstate show the list of possible state, but you can't change the state with for example "setgetstate 0 4". With ACPI 3.11 it is working. acpibattery freeze the system, the only operation that can be done after is to power off. Additional it looks like that there is something wrong with APM. 18 Nov 14:59:10 AcpiDaemon? End read M:\MPTN\ETC\AcpiD.cfg 18 Nov 14:59:10 AcpiDaemon? Hello ACPI support, I opened this bug-tracker at eCS V2 RC7 bug-tracker support. . Description: Video performance is unusable with the current bad performance on this system System description: ASU P6T DELUXE V2 mainboard (see following constructor link about its specifications) CPU: intel i7 950 (4 cores = 8 cpus under eCS) BIOS VERSION: 0504 (the very latest available bios from vendor) CPU Intel® Socket 1366 Core™ i7 Processor Extreme Edition/Core?™ i7 Processor Supports Intel® Dynamic Speed Technology Chipset Intel® X58 / ICH10R System Bus Up to 6400 MT/s Triple channel memory architecture Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) Video card tested:
