#537 fixed cfg and log mixup David Azarewicz yoda
Description

In MPTN\ETC\ACPID.CFG:

If I specify: VBESave = 0xf Daemon will output: VBE:0x0

If I specify: VBESave = 15 Daemon will output: VBE:0xf

If I specify: AcpiLog? = D:\AcpiCA.log then I do get a file named AcpiCA.log in root; but it contains the output from ACPIDAEMON, not anything from ACPICA$ as I would have expected.

#536 Unrelated Slow boot/load of BASEDEVs David Azarewicz yoda
Description

ASUS A8N SLI Premium AMD 3800X2 NForce 4 chipset Award 6.0PG BIOS 3GB RAM.

System can now boot for first time in full SMP mode. However, it takes 30-50 secs to load all BASEDEVs, measured from BM to ACPI banner. Rest of config.sys loads normally. In /PIC or /VW mode (or without PSD) same takes 7-8 secs.

#535 Unrelated DOSBox fails to run after installing acpi 3.19.15 David Azarewicz losepete
Description

I installed acpi 3.19.15 to my eCS2.1 system and all seemded to be working fine - until I tried running some of my old DOS games in DOSBox.

DOSBox was working fine prior to installing acpi 3.19.15

Now DOSBox hangs/crashes immediately on starting.

To test that the problem is acpi I put REM at the front of the acpi line in the config.sys file - it is the only acpi related line in the config.sys as I do not use apm or acpidaemon - and rebooted.

Result: DOSBox works fine.

I then deleted the REM from the front of the config.sys line and rebooted.

Result: DOSBox hangs/crashes immediately on starting.

Mainboard/chipset involved: Asus M2N using nVidia nForce430/MCP61
