-In June 2021 I (Andreas Buchinger) started to play with the XWP sources once again. I set up a new svn branch (http://trac.netlabs.org/xworkplace/browser/branches/branch_AB) which is planned to be very similar to the official working tree (branch-1-0). But with a few exceptions - shutdown time is increased as it is definitely necessary on one of my systems. Maybe I'll implement an environment variable to set this time as some other users seem to have the same problem with the official build. And I prefer the standard shutdown dialog with the ability to customize the 'reboot to' partition names. The new dialog from Rich is undoubtedly advantageous for systems with a small number of bootable partitions, but it is unusable for my systems with 8 or more OS installations. Moreover when you add/remove another harddisk (which I've to do sometimes), the new shutdown dialog will get even more confusing. That's the reason why I started the branch_AB.
