Ticket #39 – Description
initial v1 1 1 On my Asus X55s laptop (Core2 Duo) I see the following trap: 2 2 3 [[Image( )]]3 [[Image(http://trac.netlabs.org/vbox/attachment/ticket/39/trap_d.jpg)]] 4 4 5 when starting the VM. 5 when starting the VM. I see it only with IBM's 14.104 / 14.106 kernels. With OS/2 r4515 kernel, it doesn't trap at all. 6 7 Also, comparing the cs:eip with addresses in this list: 8 9 {{{ 10 vboxdrv: e3ad4020 VMMR0.r0 11 vboxdrv: e390f020 VBoxDDR0.r0 12 vboxdrv: e38fd020 VBoxDD2R0.r0 13 HMR0InitVM: e3aa2000 14 }}} 15 16 We see, that the trap address is probably, in VMMR0.r0
