In 186 I have not yet managed to create a trap 8 spontaneously while doing a large copy to a JFS formatted memory stick.

However I have found that occasionally the copy hangs (although the system is not hung) and if in this state I pull out the stick a trap 8 is generated. (Note I cannot eject it using any means as the things I try to use to eject do not respond presumably because the USB system us locked).

Good news is that in this version I can successfully format the stick with JFS (I had to go to a different system when I was using v 185)"	defect	closed	minor	basedrv		wontfix
