Description:
If found (previously) a post on Conexants homepage that they had provided code to ALSA for their soundcards that was included with ALSA 1.0.23 and I've used it since.
My problem is that Conexant HDA sound can't be controlled by MPlayer, I have to set DART output to get non-stuttering sound and fluent videos and UniMix to control the sound but it cause sound failure after a few adjustments.

No audio app can play after that, until the computer has been restarted.
