153	Distorted sound using uniaud114RC6	losepete		"While installing eCS2.0RC5 onto a 2nd system here I discovered that the eCS2.0 supplied Uniaud, 114RC6 for non-HDA chipsets, loads OK at boot but produces distorted sound.

I then went for backlevelling Uniaud to find a working driver - I knew that such a beast existed because this used to be my main system.

114RC5 loads OK but produces no sound at all.

114RC4 loads OK and sound is about right.

Chipset involved: nVidia CK804 / Realtek ALC850 on an Asus A8N-E mainboard.


Sorry, did not think to get logs while uniaud114RC6 was installed due to being more interested in finishing an eCS install...
