1) Set option to download torrent to a sub folder depending on ""label""
a. Application window: qBittorrent 3.1.8
b. Menu: Tools->Options...
c. Object: Container
d. Select: Downloads
e. Grouping area: Hard Disk
f. Grouning area: Save files to location:
g. Mark checkbox: Append the label of the torrent to the save path
h. Button:[  OK  ]

2) Add a label
a. Window: qBittorrent 3.1.8
b. Tab: Transfers
c. Heading: Labels
d. Mouse: Right click (on free area)
e. Popup Menu Select: Add label...
f. Window: New label
g. Field: Label:
h. Keyboard: MySubFolder

3) Add a torrent and set the label
a. Add a torrent
b. Mark torrent in list
c. Mouse. Right Click
d. Popup Menu Select: Label > MySubFolder
e. Note! Adding a label here doesn't work

4) The download will begin and the files will be placed in a sub-folder with the same name as the selected label.
a. Open the folder to check where it save the files²

5) Shut down qBitTorrent and restart it again.
a. Menu: File->Exit

6) qBittorrent will now start and place the files in the download folder¹
a. Select the same torrent in the list again
b. Bottom area
c. Grouping area: Information
d. Label: Save path:
e. Note the path
f. Double check where it actually save the data now¹!

Q1: Why doesn't it continue in the sub-folder even though all messages inside qBittorrent state that it download to the sub-folder?

You now have two sets of the same file
