QDir::cleanPath() broken

Description

Currently QDir::cleanPath() strips trailing separators from root directories. This due to a #ifdef thatwas not present in 4.6.

Note that this bug also affects QMake.

Just for my info, could you please tell how did this affect QMake? I didn't notice any problems.

The problem arises when QMake is requested to create output directories using MakefileGenerator::mkdir(). Due to QDir::cd() behaving weird with this bug, subdirs got created in the root instead of relative to the current dir. This happened when building QtCreator. I didn't see it with Qt itself.
