This is a "quick'n'dirty" fix for problems stated in tickets.
But it seems to work, at least on some checked hardware.

While using it, please check that your \IBMCOM\PROTOCOL.INI
contains at least these parameters:

[R8110_nif]

       DriverName = R8110$
       IRQ15OVR = "YES"
       TXQUEUE = 8
       RXQUEUE = 16
       TXEARLY = 1526
       TXMXDMA = 0
       RXEARLY = 0
       RXMXDMA = 256
       PCIMRW = "yes"
