Luide closes when opening a pdf or jpeg file

Description
Program closes immediately without any error message. the behavior is the same if i go through Lucide -> open or if i do a rmb click on the file itself and choose Lucide as the program to open with. Files can be opened without any issue with other applications (e.g. pdf with qpdfview).
I have ArcaOS 5.04 with all available updates on netlabs-rel. Reinstall of Lucide did not solve the issue.
