Cannot boot with uniaud drivers in config.sys

No change from v3.15/3.16/3.17/3.18PK there


Booting required 4 - FOUR - attempts before finally getting to a working Desktop at which point I find that I cannot start File and Print Client; Hardware Manager does not show my nVidia nic so I guess that did not load - due to this version of ACPI I guess.

No nic means no report - until I boot another installation on this system and retrieve the logfile package I have created.

*IF* you see lots of references to IRQ6 in the logs then look into the ACPI code as the system was (finally) booted to a Desktop, the Logfiles were collected and the system shutdown. No other activity took place.

Now, to reset that system to use the ONLY build of ACPI that vaguely works - V3.14; might be an idea if you look into 3.14 and find out why that vaguely works but later versions do not.
