and rebooted.

Boot failed almost immediately stopping at the ""Loading USBEHCD.SYS"" and then displaying a TRAP 000d.


I edited CONFIG.SYS and removed all USB drivers. 

Reboot failed when loading uniaud32.sys so I edited CONFIG.SYS and removed uniaud drivers.

System could then boot to a working Desktop; Log files created and attached as 20090624_acpi-log-Model-of-your-PC.ziq.


Use of tmrtest.exe reveals the necessity for the /TMR switch; as I also want audio and USB support I changed the CONFIG.SYS line to

PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /CD /TMR /APIC /!NOD

and rebooted - *UNsuccessfully*

The system stopped with

L:\ECS\BOOT\USBRESMG.SYS

as the last item processed and a message appeared further up the screen:

""System detected an internal processing error...""


I have reverted to using v3.14"	defect	closed	major	Feedback pending	ACPI PSD	3.16	unknown
