now I installed ACPI 3.10 on my X31 with eCS20rc5 and tested s/r.

With the new version of ACPI it does not trap anymore, it even begins to
suspend (network-ping stops, screen switches off, short beep, the ""moon""
goes on very short (less than 1/2 sec) but after at about 4 sec I get an
other beep, the screen comes up and the ping goes on with some packet loss.
