Hardware: Asus M2V MB, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+, 1GB Ram, 320GB SATA, 1DVD ROM Drive, 1CDRW,
Realtek 3139 NIC, CS46xx sound card, Asus AX300SE-x graphics  card, Adaptec 29160N SCSI + 2 SCSI HDD's,
Hauppage PVR350.

After installing eCS2.0 rc2 with SMP kernel, everything is fine until
I enable the /SMP option.

At this point the system is in a constant reboot cycle: it gets as far as
the SNAP splash screen and reboots all over again.

Oh well, back to beta4 where at this rate I will be permanently stuck.

Any suggestions?
anyone else seen this problem?
