= Universal Port driver for eComStation (OS/2) = [[PageOutline]] == Introduction == Universal Port Driver (uni.pdr) will eventually become the universal successor to smb.pdr, cups.pdr, ecups.pdr, eRedMan, !PrintMon, lpr32.pdr, quePDF. The principle behind all these solutions is to take data coming from an eCS (OS/2) printer port and pass it as a temporary file to a program as commandline parameter (plus additional parameters if these are required). uni.pdr is based upon smb.pdr which is in turn based upon Serge Starck's lpr32.pdr (which is also the base cups.pdr). == Releases == [[Image(wiki:WikiStart:unipdr1.png, 200px)]] - [http://msplins06.bon.at/%7Eadmin139/files/unipdr-1-0-alpha1.zip uni.pdr 1.0 alpha.1][[BR]] - [http://msplins06.bon.at/%7Eadmin139/files/unipdr-1-0-alpha2.zip uni.pdr 1.0 alpha.2][[BR]] - [http://msplins06.bon.at/%7Eadmin139/files/unipdr-1-0-alpha3.zip uni.pdr 1.0 alpha.3][[BR]] == Requirements == * kmk build system * gcc 4.4.2 * wrc version 1.8 or better == Reporting Bugs == Reporting bugs and requesting new features is done through the ticket system. You can view existing tickets, add comments to them and create new tickets using the corresponding buttons at the top of every page. If you want to submit a new bug or request a feature, please use the Search function first to make sure there is no ticket for this task already created.[[BR]] Anonymous access to the ticket system has been restricted due to multiple attacks of stupid spammers we've been suffering from during the last month. In order to create a new ticket or comment the existing one, you need to login with your Netlabs login id. If you do not have a login id, you can request one at http://www.netlabs.org/en/site/member/member.xml. We are sorry for inconvenience, but at the present time this is the only way to avoid extremely annoying spam.[[BR]] == Credits == * Serge Starck * Herwig Bauernfeind (aka HerwigB) * Silvan Scherrer (aka diver) * Alex Taylor (aka AlexT) * and all we missed
